    Latest Microsoft Visual Studio LightSwitch Forum Threads That Have Answers

    I have a details screen that has 3 columns. shrinking the browser down to phone size does not cause the columns to reflow into one long column like I would expect.  The result is that the detail screen is unviewable at phone size, the three columns overrun each other and it looks terrible.  Anyone know about this?  The browse screens in the app resize and reflow as expected.  The issue is only in view details screens.

    After installing Visual Studio Community 2015 RC I want to create a new LightSwitch project, but there seems to be no template for it. Neither in the installed templates, nor in the online templates. What am I doing wrong? Paul

    hi, i have this myapp.showBrowseHotelPickers({ afterClosed: function (pickscreen, navigationAction){ if(navigationAction == msls.NavigateBackAction.commit){ alert("committed"); } else alert("cancelled"); } }); code behind a button on my main entity screen,  press the button the browsePicker screen shows with data to pick it uses a entity of type Hotel when i select an hotel and close the dialog , should I not be able to get the selected value in the afterClosed function like pickscreen.Hotel.selectedItem ? hotel is undefined?  any guidance would be appreciated. thx MrP
