    Guys i need help I'm noobie in developing  VS Lightswitch 2011. My lightswitch  2 tier application setup.exe cant start application. Application validation did not succeed. unabled to continue.

    please help me.

    Lightswitch 2015, SharePoint app. Kerberos is being used. the app runs, but ran into 'Save Operation Failed' when saving any new item. Turned out it was because (by default) the CreatedBy and Modified fields exist and therefore lightswitch needs to know the current user. Putting the following into code var u = ServerApplicationContext.Current.Application.User; var s = ServerApplicationContext.Current.Application.SharePoint; I can see that buth User and SharePoint are null. If I remove the Created / Modifed properties then the save works, but of course I need to know the user, so not an acceptable solution. App works in my development environment (doesn't use Kerboros). App works in the kerboros environment WHEN DEBUGGING IN VISUAL STUDIO. Since debugging is using IIS Express, I believe the settings in IIS are somehow the problem. Either a missing setting, or something with the app pool. IIS for app web has Windows Authentication as only authentication method, providers NTLM

    Hello, Sometime ago (way back in 2011), Yann Duran asked the following question that to my knowledge was never answered: " If I generate a LightSwitch application & then want to build say a WPF application using the same edmx info that LightSwitch uses, is there a way to do that?"
