The strangest thing is happening with my LS application. I created a regular Browse screen to my HTML Client Project, added it to Screen Navigation, run, and when I click on it, nothing happens. It does not open. So I thought 'this is odd'. I deleted it, created a new one, with no controls or screen properties whatsoever, just the basic screen as LS initially creates it. Tried again. Same result. Also I tried creating another one, with data. Could not navigate to it. That's not it!: I added a button to another screen, set the Tap action to open the newly created "almost empty" screen (showBrowseXYZ). When I start the application, the button is disabled!. If I change the action to show any other screen, it appears enabled and works as expected. I tried clean & rebuild, restarting Visual Studio (2013 update 2). I don't know what else to do. I really need some help here. thanks. Nicolás Lope de Barrios If you found this post helpful, please

And I know that the connection string is encrypted in the user file, but I don't understand why publish would fail. I'm using the same windows user login to publish from the new machine as well.

I am working on the permissions in our lightswitch HTML c# application. We have a code : filter = e => e.customernumber == this.Application.User.Name; So if a customer logs into the application they can only see theire own rows. (The username is the customer number) But when we log in as administrator, ofcourse we cannot see any rows anymore. We are looking to complete the code, that when we log in as administrator, we can see all rows. When customer log in with theire customernumber, they have to see only theire rows.
