Arvixe offers unlimited everything for LS hosting that is contrained by a single App Pool of 500MB.

    http://www.arvixe.com/business_web_hostinghttp://www.arvixe.com/business_web_hosting

They also offer MS Hyper-V virtual servers w/3GB RAM for $100 per month.

They do hourly backups of all databases and offsite backups.  There is a KB that explains the details.

The support MSDeploy and say that they will install LightSwitch runtime DLLs on the server if you ask.

    Shared SSRS hosting is $5.

I am running benchmarks between 2 servers because I am experiencing lost connections and SSRS report wait times up to 45 seconds.

Arvixe has servers located on the US West Coast.  They have 24/7 chat, ticket, and phone (yes, that's right, phone) support at no additional charge.

I would like to discuss issues and best practices for using Arvixe.

I would also like to hear about other hosters.

My goal is to automate 100% of the registration and management of LS application packages.

I am interested in hearing about these guys as well. I will build my next DNN and/or lightswitch app on their hositing and would like to hear some feedback.

What do you mean by 500Meg app pool?  500Meg or ram I assume?  How is their control panel?  What do they use for control panel and webmail?

The way that the MS WebSitePanel throttles shared hosting resources is through the size of IIS app pool memory. Arvixe is using the MS open source WebSitePanel.

Note: Vanguard's business requirements required additional resources so we have moved to a scalable Hyper-V VM with www.vservercenter.com which is a the new cloud computing division of www.cybercon.com. Their stability and 24/7 tech support is stellar. Steve Abilock is our sales contact. They offer SQL Web server for $20 per month. You will have to talk with Steve (or another sales rep) to get their ala carte pricing. Their pricing is competitive. Cybercon was able to give us exactly what we needed and will scale as we grow.

Our users are raving about the stability and performance of our Cybercon VM. The Cybercon Hyber-V VM is VERY FAST.

Note: I still plan to implement MS WSP technology for our hosting customers but we will be managing WSP ourselves on scalable Hyper-V VMs. Our hosting will ONLY be for our apps and approved apps of our business partners. We will be supporting a few open source apps. I am currently considering Umbraco, DNN, and WordPress. I'm sure there will be others. I think that 2012 will go far toward developing a more "universal" technology environment.
