Touch Strip Shell

This is a new LightSwitch Shell that brings a touch like interface to LightSwitch application navigation. All Navigation items are organized into sets in a single menu strip at the bottom of the page with one set per navigation group. The menu strip is collapsible to make the most use of vertical screen estate.

Features:

• Installable VSIX files for both LightSwitch v1 and v2
• Navigation items organized into a modern looking touch strip (Note: this does not imply any enhanced performance in touch enabled hardware. The name of this shell describes the look only)
• Metro style tiles with icons for screen navigation
• Collapsible menu strip
• LightSwitch theme integration using themes by DELORDSON


 

Known Issues:

This shell is optimized to work best with the current LightSwitch default theme but also works well with themes by Delordson, though some Delordson themes will need to be updated at some stage to take full advantage of this shell. This shell is not guaranteed to produce good results with other themes including (at this time) the new Cosmopolitan theme
