Lightswitch is an excellent tool for creating databases for clinical research and for creating databases for quality assurance in health care. Often you need to handle several dates in different screens. Some of the dates need to be checked against each other e.g. date of admission needs to be before date of discharge. The choice of one variable (e.g. a blood test) in one screen may depend on another variable in another screen. The dates (variables) need to be located in different screens as they are 'bound to other variables.
My question is how do I check such variables if they are located in different screens (entities)? My preferred programming language is VB. However, I think I am able to 'translate' from C#. Thank you in advance.

You create validation code on the entities. When you are inserting data into an entity you can have code that checks the data in another entity.
