I have three tables - ChangedEmployee, Employees2EmailGroup, and EMailGroup. ChangedEmployee and EMailGroup have a many to many relationship, so Employees2EmailGroup is the intermediary. The linq query I got from a Beth Massi tutorial that shows the EMailGroups for a ChangedEmployee is Private Sub EmailGroupsByChangedEmployees_PreprocessQuery(ChangedEmployeeID As System.Nullable(Of Integer), ByRef query As System.Linq.IQueryable(Of LightSwitchApplication.EmailGroup)) query = From EmailGroup In query Where EmailGroup.Employees2EmailGroups.Any(Function(s) s.ChangedEmployee.ID = ChangedEmployeeID) Select EmailGroup End Sub This works great, but I also need to get the EMailGroup records that a ChangedEmployee isn't linked to. I've tried
DropUp Menue for Buttons
9/27/2016 8:04 AM
Hello, I'm working on a HTML-Client Lightswitch project with VS 2013 and have a question. I am new in programming and designing and have no idea how to solve it. I have created some tables and screens and add commands in the command bar, but when I saw the result in browser I was wondering if it is possible to create a DropUp Menue where all the commands are inside, so that you have one button which show me the other commands. I have one button to add a record, one to delete it, one to search through my records and one to edit my records. If it is possible, I want one button "Options" which give me the possibility to choose between the other commands. I hope you understand me and can help me out. Regards, AHleonIT

I've looked at tons of examples and have tried them all and am not sure where I am going wrong? I want to use as ingle method to make a geocoding request to Google maps and I have a key. I tried following the the examplehttp://www.c-sharpcorner.com/uploadfile/scottlysle/geocode-an-address-using-google-maps-in-vb-net/ but to no avail. Can someone help me please or point me in the right direction. Filter List By Querystring

Hi I am new to LightSwitch (HTML) and trying to resolve a simple problem. I have a couple of tables (related); * Vehicle Maintenance Maintenance Item The first screen shows the Vehicle, I select a vehicle which displays the details. A second tab shows the Maintenance When I click add on the MaintenanceItem, it brings up a popup, once of the fields is a list/lookup. I want to filer the lookupnup by the Vehicle Id (first table). What is the best way to approach this? Any help would be great. Thanks Paul
